The Bredbury Scissors

This fascinating junction (number 26) of the M60 in Manchester is home to the Bredbury Scissors, a strange criss-cross piece of road design allowing people to get on and off the motorway. Quite different to the usual sliproad or roundabout exit, some people hate driving this but it sure was fun to photograph. Timing the lights to get as much of the road lit up as possible within a 30 second time window was tricky and required a lot of attempts to arrive at this final conclusion.
