Sun worshippers - Rivington Pike Tower

On the eve of the summer solstice 2022 I headed up to one of my favourite spots in Lancashire for a sunset photo op. It's no stonehenge but whenever it looks like a decent sunset is on people go up there to watch it, with views out towards Blackpool and the Irish sea. This view, from around 1 mile southeast of the tower, is perfect for positioning it near where the sun will set, creating a striking silhouette.
