Puffin on Lunga

Seeing Puffins up close is something I've wanted to do since I was a small child and finally in the Summer of 2022 I achieved it. A day trip to Staffa and Lunga from Kilchoan in Ardnamurchan, with mercifully the only decent day of weather I had that entire week, brought me up close and personal to a colony of breeding Puffins. They are smaller than I'd imagined, roughly the size of a pigeon, and are surprisingly relaxed about human presence.
