Shag

Slightly smaller and more delicate than a Cormorant, but a perfectly capable sea bird. I saw this Shag perched on the Isle of Lunga during my trip to see Puffins. Several birds were breeding there, preferring exposed cliff faces or piles of boulders to nest under.
