"Sunset Industry"

Description

Although the third time I have uploaded a photo of this subject, I couldn't help but capture this photo on a whim after an afternoon at my favourite beach. Nearing sunset, some thin clouds had moved in on the western horizon, likely at least 50-100 miles away. Threatening to block the sunset, they instead put on a glorious show with red, yellow and orange bands. Setting the exposure to silhouette the foreground, I caught this shot of the Lennox rig and Irish Sea Pioneer, only a few miles off shore.
