Mesmerised Goose

A Canada Goose stands on a frozen lake during light snowfall in a particularly cold winter snap, England, UK. Canada Geese are fully grown and gain complete adult plumage well within their first year so it is entirely plausible this is the first time this bird saw snow. It was utterly mesmerised by the falling flakes and seemed truly perplexed by the white stuff.
