Artificial World

An urban scene which at first glance may resemble a typical landscape with the sun rising over distant mountains. Quite the opposite, this foggy evening with a bright spotlight over the roofs of some industrial units, almost oppressive in its appearance, helped me create an illusion of something more natural in an environment which was anything but. Very much a happy accident however - I didn't fully realise this image until the post production process. Taken on a Ricoh GRIII - right place, right time.
