What good is Route 66 without some classic neon? Renowned as one of the finest places to stay on a Route 66 pilgrimage, this "period correct" motel did not disappoint. The view of the neon sign, the motor court and the classic car was pretty much exactly what I'd envisioned I wanted to see on 66 so I was happy to have found it. The owners of the Blue Swallow are rightly very proud of their brand, so although this was taken from the public sidewalk I've marked this image as editorial uses only.
