Catching rays

Was lucky to catch this cormorant in a local park one day when a glimmer of sun came through, illuminating its back. They spread their wings like this to dry them off as their feathers easily become waterlogged. When the sun hits them just right it reveals they are not black but actually a stunning iridescent bronze.
