Nature's triumph

Here at Keys View, at the top of Joshua Tree National Park there are epic views across the Coachella Valley of California. This tree defies both strong winds and an unfortunate boulder, twisting up towards the sky. The wide angle perspective somewhat tames the barren and threatening landscape, with a steep downwards slope only feet away.
