Common Gull
Description
A common gull co-operates with me on a chilly winter morning with a fly-by and the full plumage on show. Don't normally see these so much at other times of year especially inland as I was here. They appear similar to Herring Gull but are smaller, slightly larger than Black Headed Gull. The plumage appears to be in transition between summer and winter.
