Pair of Pochard Drakes

From the same visit as my single Pochard drake photo, I was lucky enough to capture the two drakes present in this one shot. Unfortunately there wasn't a female about, but seeing two of these already unusual ducks at one time was nice. Pochards have a UK conservation status of red, with few breeding pairs and a moderate amount of wintering birds.
